Candidates currently pursuing higher studies.

Selected candidates must execute a contract of apprenticeship training as per the Apprentices Act, 1961 and Amendment Act, 1973.
A Medical Fitness Certificate must be submitted at the time of joining.

ISRO URSC Apprentice Recruitment 2026 Selection Process
The selection process is completely merit-based. There is no written examination.
Shortlisting: Candidates will be shortlisted based on the percentage of marks secured in their respective Degree / Diploma / Diploma in Commercial Practice.
Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification. No Travelling Allowance (TA) will be paid.
Merit Panel: After successful document verification, a panel will be drawn strictly based on academic scores.
Final Selection: Induction of apprentices against vacant positions will be made strictly based on the candidate’s position in the merit panel.
Communication: Selected candidates will be informed only through email.
How to Apply Online for ISRO URSC Apprentice Recruitment 2026
This is a two-portal application process. Applications will be accepted only through online mode. No offline applications will be considered.
Step 1: Visit the NATS portal (National Apprenticeship Training Scheme) at nats.education.gov.in and register as a candidate.
Step 2: Upload your Degree/Diploma certificate and valid government-issued ID during NATS enrolment.
Step 3: After successful registration, note down your Enrolment Number / Apprenticeship Registration Number.
Step 4: Visit the UMANG portal at web.umang.gov.in and register/log in.
Step 5: Search for “URSC Apprenticeship” on the UMANG portal.
Step 6: Select your discipline and fill in all required personal and academic details. You must enter the NATS Enrolment Number in the application form.
Step 7: Upload the required documents in JPG/JPEG/PNG format:
Marks certificates of all semesters/years in one single file (max 1 MB).
