EWS840
SC882

SSC notes that the UR figure includes candidates from reserved categories who provisionally qualified at the UR cutoff.

SSC MTS & Havaldar Cutoff 2025

SSC has released the category-wise and CCA-wise cutoff details for Havaldar along with the result write-up.

The cutoff table provides:

  • CCA
  • Post
  • Category
  • Candidates available
  • Session-II marks
  • General Awareness marks
  • Session-I marks
  • Date of birth used for tie resolution

The cutoff is therefore not one single national number. It varies by CCA and category.

SSC MTS & Havaldar Minimum Qualifying Marks

For both Session-I and Session-II of the CBE, SSC specified these minimum qualifying marks:

CategoryMinimum Qualifying Marks
UR30%
OBC / EWS25%
All Other Categories20%

Candidates who did not qualify in Session-I were not eligible for evaluation of Session-II. Havaldar PET/PST shortlisting was based on performance in Session-II after applying the prescribed rules.

SSC MTS & Havaldar Answer Key 2025

SSC uploaded the tentative answer keys along with candidates’ response sheets for the CBE.

The answer-key challenge window was open from:

3 March 2026, 6:00 PM to 6 March 2026, 6:00 PM

The challenge fee was ₹50 per question/answer challenged. The challenge window is now closed.

SSC MTS & Havaldar PET/PST Admit Card 2026

The PET/PST admission certificates are not the same as the CBE admit card.

For the current Havaldar physical test, SSC has stated that the respective Regional Offices will issue admission certificates before the PET/PST schedule.

Therefore, candidates shortlisted in List-I should regularly check their respective SSC Regional Office website and the SSC portal for the admission certificate.

Check SSC Official Website / Login

Do not treat the login page itself as proof that the PET/PST admit card has already been released. The 20 August notice only confirms that the admission certificates will be issued before the scheduled PET/PST.

What Happens After PET/PST?

For Havaldar candidates, failing PET/PST means the candidate will not be considered for the Havaldar post in the final result.

However, SSC has specifically stated that if such a candidate is also shortlisted for the MTS post, their candidature will remain valid for MTS. SSC will declare the first round of tentative allocation for both MTS and Havaldar together at a later stage after completion of Havaldar PET/PST.

This is an important distinction: failing Havaldar PET/PST does not automatically end an eligible candidate’s MTS candidature.

For candidates who are specifically waiting for the next step, the most important documents now are List-I, the CCA/category-wise cutoff, and the PET/PST admission certificate.
