Bihar BSSC Recruitment 2025 432 Stenographer & Typist posts announced!

A total of 432 posts are open, including Stenographer and Typist positions across Bihar.

Application Dates

Online applications open on 25 September 2025 and close on 3 November 2025 at bssc.bihar.gov.in.

Qualification

Qualification: Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent. Mandatory Hindi shorthand and computer typing; Mawlawi, ITI or Polytechnic accepted.

Age Limit

Age Limit: Minimum 18 years. Maximum 37 years for general males; relaxations up to 40/42 years apply for reserved categories and women.

Exam Pattern

Objective written test with 150 MCQs and negative marking, followed by shorthand dictation and computer typing skill tests for shortlisted candidates.

Pay Scale

Salary & Pay Scale: Level-4 (₹25,500 – ₹81,100). Selected candidates will also receive allowances and benefits as per Bihar government rules.

Application Fee

Application Fee is ₹100 for all categories, payable online via card/UPI/netbanking. Fee is non-refundable and must be successfully transacted.
