Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must satisfy the educational qualifications, professional training requirements, and CTET/TET conditions prescribed for the respective post.

TGT (Mathematics)

Candidates should possess a Four-Year Integrated Degree Course from a Regional College of Education of NCERT or any recognized university with at least 50% marks in aggregate and Mathematics as the main subject.

Alternatively, candidates may hold a Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 50% marks, with Mathematics as a main subject and Physics along with any one of the following subjects: Chemistry, Electronics, Computer Science, or Statistics. A B.Ed. degree from a recognized institution is also required.

Applicants must have qualified CTET Paper-II and should be capable of teaching in both English and Hindi medium.

TGT (Science)

Candidates should possess a Four-Year Integrated Degree Course from a Regional College of Education of NCERT or a recognized university with at least 50% marks in aggregate and Science as the main subject.

Alternatively, candidates may hold a Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 50% marks, with Botany, Zoology, or Life Science as a main subject and any two of the following subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biotechnology, or Microbiology. A recognized B.Ed. degree is mandatory.

Applicants must have qualified CTET Paper-II and should be proficient in teaching through English and Hindi medium.

TGT (Work Experience Teacher)

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Information Technology, or an equivalent discipline with at least 50% marks.

A B.Ed. degree with minimum 50% marks is required. Candidates should also have knowledge of computer applications and the ability to teach through English and Hindi medium.

TGT (Telugu)

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree with Telugu as the main subject, or a Bachelor’s Degree in Oriental Language (Telugu), or a Postgraduate Degree in Telugu from a recognized university.

In addition, candidates must possess a B.Ed. degree with Telugu methodology or Telugu Pandit Training qualification. Applicants should have qualified CTET Paper-II or State TET Paper-II.

Primary Teacher

Candidates should have passed Senior Secondary (10+2) with at least 50% marks and possess either a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education, a four-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.), or a two-year Diploma in Special Education.

Candidates must have qualified CTET Paper-I and should be capable of teaching through both English and Hindi medium.

Selection Process

The selection process consists of a Computer Based Test (CBT) followed by a Skill Test.

Computer Based Test

Candidates will first appear in a Computer Based Test designed to assess both theoretical and practical knowledge relevant to the post applied for. The syllabus prescribed by SDSC SHAR will be applicable for the examination.

Based on CBT performance, candidates will be shortlisted for the Skill Test generally in a 1:5 ratio against the vacancies notified, subject to a minimum of 10 candidates in each category.

Skill Test

The Skill Test will be qualifying in nature and evaluated out of 100 marks. Candidates must secure at least 60% marks to qualify.

The Skill Test will be conducted using a chalk-and-board teaching demonstration. Candidates will be given a topic related to their subject and will be required to demonstrate their teaching ability, classroom handling skills, and subject knowledge.

Final Merit List

The final merit list will be prepared solely on the basis of marks obtained in the Computer Based Test among candidates who qualify in the Skill Test.

In case of a tie, academic marks in the essential qualification will be considered first, followed by age, with the older candidate being placed higher.

Travelling Allowance

No travelling allowance will be paid for attending the Computer Based Test. However, candidates called for the Skill Test from outside the examination city will be reimbursed Second Class Railway Fare by the shortest route or ordinary bus fare, whichever is lower, subject to submission of valid travel proof such as railway or bus tickets.
