- The applications are to be filled online only on website https://joinindiannavy.gov.in and all required original documents are to be scanned and uploaded.
- Candidates have to give three city preferences for Indian Naval Entrance Test (INET). Centre allocation is at the discretion of Indian Navy and cannot be changed once selected/allotted.
- Call up Letters cum Admit Card for Stage I – INET 2026, would be required to be downloaded from the website; no admit card will be sent by post.
- Only Electronic mode of communication will be used; no documents would be sent by post.
- Original documents uploaded during online application (certificates, mark sheets, Domicile certificate, NCC certificate) must be brought at all stages of recruitment (including INS Chilka).
- Incorrect declaration of information or mismatch between online details and original documents will result in cancellation of candidature at any stage.
- Mobile phones or any other communication devices are not allowed inside the examination premises. Infringement will lead to disciplinary action, including ban from future examinations.
- Candidates are strongly advised to apply online well in time without waiting for the last date.
- No candidate should misbehave in any manner or create a disorderly scene in examination premises, which will entail disqualification.
- Candidates should not submit multiple applications; if more than one application is received, candidature will be cancelled.
- The decision of the Indian Navy as to the eligibility or otherwise of a candidate at every stage of recruitment shall be final.
- Wrong information about domicile certificate will result in cancellation of candidature at any stage.
- A correction window of 2 days is provided post-closing of the application window, and an additional 2-day correction window will be activated post INET exam. No further corrections will be entertained thereafter.
- Verification of documents including NCC certificates and photographs would be undertaken during the application process. Counterfeit documents and/or incorrect details shall lead to disqualification.
- Failure to report on the date and time mentioned in the call letter, or reporting 30 minutes after the reporting time for Stage I – INET, will result in cancellation.
- Selection for a particular batch is valid only for that batch. Qualified candidates not appearing in the merit list cannot claim admission for the next batch.
- All selected candidates must produce self-attested copies of certificates submitted online, along with all original certificates, at INS Chilka. Mismatch will lead to cancellation.
- All selected candidates are required to download and submit a Police Verification Form (verified by Superintendent of Police) at INS Chilka. Candidates without verified Police Verification Reports or with adverse comments will not be eligible for enrolment.
- No enquiry will be entertained regarding this recruitment/enrolment after a period of six months, post completion of the recruitment cycle for the respective batch.
- Beware of agents/cheats/touts/anti-social elements. Recruitment is not possible through unlawful means.
