Interview Details
Second Stage: Interview carrying 70 marks. A merit list based on CBT marks will be prepared, and candidates from this list will be called for interview as per prescribed rules.

- Demand draft/cheque/money order/postal order/banker’s cheque/postal stamp etc. will not be accepted as application fee.
- Entries made in the last submitted online application form shall be treated as final.
- Candidates belonging to reserved categories of Uttar Pradesh must mention their category in the application.
- Candidates not domiciled in Uttar Pradesh are not eligible for reservation benefits and will be treated as belonging to the unreserved category.
- The decision of the appointing authority regarding the eligibility/non-eligibility of a candidate will be final.
- Any candidate providing false information that cannot be substantiated by certificate shall be disqualified from this and all other examinations and selection processes.
- Candidature/selection will be cancelled if candidates are found non-eligible later, even if an appointment has been made.
- Candidates will be allowed provisional permission for the written examination based on the information provided by them.
- No need to send a separate hard copy of the application to the office of Uttar Pradesh Pollution Control Board; candidates must present a hard copy at the time of interview.
- Any malafide act such as cheating, indiscipline, misconduct, or use of unfair means in the examination hall will result in the cancellation of candidature and disqualification from future examinations.
- The candidates selected for appointment will be required to undergo a medical examination by the Chief Medical Officer.
- The appointing authority reserves the right to cancel the candidature/appointment in case of any misconduct, concealment of important information, pending prosecution/criminal cases, conviction, having more than one living spouse, misrepresentation of facts, or making recommendations regarding candidature/selection.
- In case of any dispute, the place of jurisdiction shall be Lucknow.
