Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification: Passed 10th class examination or its equivalent (under 10+2 examination system) with minimum 50% marks, in aggregate, from recognized Board and also possess National Trade Certificate in the notified trade issued by the National Council for Vocational Training or Provisional Certificate issued by NCVT /SCVT.
• Age Limit: 15 to 24 years
• Age Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST candidates, 3 years for OBC candidates, 10 years for Persons with Disability, up to additional 10 years for ex-servicemen.

Exam Pattern

Merit list prepared on the basis of percentage of marks in matriculation (minimum 50% aggregate) + ITI marks in the trade. Panel based on simple average of marks in matriculation and ITI.

• Certificate for proof of date of birth (Standard 10th or its equivalent certificate or mark sheet indicating date of birth or school leaving certificate indicating date of birth)
• Consolidated mark sheet for all semesters of the trade in which applied / Provisional National Trade Certificate indicating marks
• National Trade Certificate issued by NCVT or Provisional National Trade Certificate issued by NCVT /SCVT
• Caste certificate for SC/ST/OBC candidates (Central Government format)
• Disability certificate, in case of PwBD candidate
• Discharge certificate / Serving certificate, in case of candidates applied against Ex-Servicemen quota
• Medical certificate (Annexure VII) signed by Government authorized doctor (Gaz.), not below the rank of Asst. Surgeon of Central/State Hospital

3. Step 3: Choose only one cluster and give unit preferences within that cluster
4. Step 4: Upload colour photograph (3.5 cm x 3.5 cm, JPG/JPEG, 100 DPI, 20 kb-70 kb)
5. Step 5: Upload signature (3.5 cm x 3.5 cm, JPG/JPEG, 100 DPI, 20 kb – 30kb)
6. Step 6: Upload legible scanned copy of required documents
7. Step 7: Make online fee payment if applicable
8. Step 8: Preserve/note Registration Number

Important Instructions

• Submit ONLINE application much before the closing date to avoid last minute rush.
• Candidates should be in possession of Aadhaar Card or Aadhaar Enrolment ID (except J&K, Meghalaya, Assam candidates who can use Voter ID, Passport, Driving License, or other valid Govt ID).
• Name, father’s name, date of birth must exactly match Matriculation certificate.
• Provide active mobile number and valid e-mail ID for communication.
• Submission of more than one application will lead to summary rejection of all applications.
• No physical copy of the application is required to be sent to RRC/CR.
• Imparting Training in Railway will not confer any right for absorption in Railway after successful completion of training.
• No correspondences for engagement will be entertained.
• Canvassing in any form will disqualify the candidature.
• Candidates found to have furnished wrong/fake/false certificates will be discharged at any stage.
• No daily allowance / conveyance allowance or travelling allowance will be paid to candidates called for document verification.
• Request to change division/unit after selection will not be entertained.
• Online payment is non-refundable; attempting to reverse transaction will lead to application withdrawal.
