AIIMS NORCET 11 Recruitment 2026

AIIMS New Delhi has released the official notification for Nursing Officer Recruitment Common Eligibility Test (NORCET) 11. This recruitment is for Nursing Officer posts at Level 07 in Group-B across AIIMS New Delhi and other participating AIIMS institutes in India. If you have a nursing degree or diploma and you are looking for a permanent central government job with good salary and job security, this notification is for you.

The online application started on 24 July 2026 and the last date to apply is 13 August 2026. The selection will be done through two-stage online computer-based tests. The preliminary exam is on 12 September 2026 and the mains exam is on 30 September 2026.

Eligibility Criteria

AIIMS has given two options for eligibility. You need to meet any one of them.

Option 1 – For Degree Holders

a) You must have one of these degrees from an Indian Nursing Council or State Nursing Council recognized institute or university:

• B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing
• B.Sc. Nursing
• B.Sc. (Post-Certificate) Nursing
• Post-Basic B.Sc. Nursing

b) You must be registered as a Nurse and Midwife with the State Nursing Council or Indian Nursing Council.

Option 2 – For Diploma Holders

a) Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery from an Indian Nursing Council or State Nursing Council recognized institute, board or council.

b) You must be registered as a Nurse and Midwife with the State Nursing Council or Indian Nursing Council.

c) You must have at least 2 years of work experience in a hospital with minimum 50 beds. This experience must be gained after you complete your course, get your results and complete your registration with the nursing council.

Important Note: The 2 years experience is a must for diploma holders. Experience gained before registration or during the course will not be counted.

Vacancy Details

AIIMS has not given a fixed all-India vacancy number in this short notification. The exact number of posts will depend on the available vacancies in each participating AIIMS institute. The participating institutes include AIIMS New Delhi and other AIIMS centers across India.

Salary Details

Selected candidates will be appointed as Nursing Officer in Group-B. The pay structure is as follows:

• Pay Level: Level 07
• Pre-revised Pay Band: Rs. 9300 – 34800
• Grade Pay: Rs. 4600/-
• Job Type: Permanent Central Government Post

The total in-hand salary will be calculated as per Level 7 of the 7th Pay Commission central government pay matrix. Apart from basic pay, you will also get Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), transport allowance, medical benefits, pension benefits and other central government perks as per rules.
